I would say toolbox 9 is the most fun and most tired course I experience in toolbox.
Toolbox 9 is media class, we need to do the photoshoot for our product. I had a couple ideas in my mind already, but first I made a sample of my product. I used paper and staplers to create some similar pattern of the samurai helmet. Then I connect them with a hat. It surprised that it has just the same movement I imagined the actual product would be.
So when it come to fashion photo shoot, I don’t like to just do poses and just put some filters on it. I like to tell a story through them. So I created this man who felt trapped in his daily life, I put on some tie shirt and Suit to create an office worker outfit and also the simple that I made. I used flashlight in a dark room, so that the space kind looks wet. And the armer on my hat is almost floating so that it look like the man was drowning in water. I’m kind satisfied with my outcome. However, all I have is a camera and my room, and my room is SOO FKING small so in-order to do the shooting, I have to stand on my bad and start a timer. By the time I finished, I was soaked in sweat. Anyway, if I have more time to prepare, maybe find a better location or A BIGGER ROOM, I can definitely create something better.
I do enjoy photography very much, I think that came from my passion in movies. I used want to study cinema, however I decided something is better left to be enjoy.. I also love to design and make clothes as well, so I would love to be doing both of them in my future study at LCF.
